Spooky Decorating Tip #1: Glow Stick Chandelier

I was just on Party City's website and fell in love with this Glow Stick Chandelier Idea!

You can mix the colors or just pick one but that glow stick allure will surely give an eerie feel for Halloween.

Blue and white could be real good for a ghastly party, red for vampires and zombies, green for zombies and witches, purple for witches and werewolves, orange for Halloween in general....the opportunities are endless!

All you have to do is get a plain foil chandelier like this....

Black is the staple but other colors can also work I'm sure; like if you were to find a silver or blue chandelier and use blue and white glow sticks for a sweet icy or ghostly look. Yellow glow sticks on a gold chandelier can really make the gold pop.

Use the individual foil strands to tie on the glow sticks. Obviously the chandelier will only last as long as glow sticks last...so most of a day's time.

To keep cost low, make sure to get a big pack of the sticks. Try and buy them in bulk by visiting sites like OrientalTrading.com, PartyCity.com and CoolGlow.com, they have deals on bulk bunches of glow sticks.

This is a really neat craft idea!
