October is here! And there are so many supernatural shows either starting up or starting back up this month! So I'm gonna write down all I know right here as a reminder to myself and anyone else that may need a reminder of all that tv has to offer in regards to keepin' everyone in the Halloween spirit!
Of course many popular tv shows will feature a Halloween episode, and as soon as I have the info about which shows are doing Halloween and when they will air I will make sure to come back here and post all that info too!
And if you're reading this and I'm missing something, feel free to comment!
October 1 - Wolfblood - American series premiere (twas a British show that debuted in 2012 and is now making it's American debut) - Disney Channel
October 3 - The Vampire Diaries - season 5 premiere - The CW
October 3 - The Originals - series premiere - The CW
October 3 - Deadtime Stories - series premiere - Nickelodeon
October 6 - Witches of East End - series premiere - Lifetime
October 8 - Supernatural - season 9 premiere - The CW
October 13 - The Walking Dead - season 4 premiere - AMC
October 22 - Pretty Little Liars Halloween Special - special 1-hour episode - ABC Family
October 22 - Ravenswood - series premiere - ABC Family
October 25 - Grimm - season 3 premiere - NBC
October 25 - Dracula - series premiere - NBC
October 26 - The Good Witch's Destiny - tv movie premiere - Hallmark Channel
And let's not forget these shows and networks that make sure to keep the spooky spirit alive......
- Face/Off, a movie makeup competition reality series that airs on Tuesdays on SyFy Channel.
- Sleepy Hollow, a new spooky supernatural crime drama that debuted this past September 16 on FOX
- The Haunted Hathaways on Nickelodeon is about a family who moves into a haunted house and learns to live with the spirits who also live there.
- The Disney Channel always hosts Monstober, where they play Halloween movies and Halloween-themed episodes of their original programming all month long! I really enjoy how much the channel gets in on the Halloween spirit, especially with the showing of their very popular Halloweentown films! So make sure to check your TV Guide to see what they've got going on!
- The kid's network The Hub is also great for Halloween if you happen to tune in when they've got The Haunting Hour and Goosebumps on. Both shows were created by R.L. Stine and are just scary enough for kids but not TOO scary.
- Make sure to check your Hallmark listings for Good Witch marathons happening all month long.
