Spooky Artist Pick: Drew Rausch

So I'm a sucker for spooky artists and all of their unique styles and with that I've decided that I need to start sharing all the artists I either know about, find myself in love with, and purchase from on this SpookySprinkles blog.  I know, I know, I haven't blogged in a LONG while, but I've gone through a bunch of stuff this year, and hadn't had the energy, BUT, here we are.... :)

Today my lot came in from artist Drew Rausch; he'd had a 25% off sale the other day and I couldn't pass it up as there were a few prints I really wanted. His website offers original stickers, comic books, art prints and enamel pins.

I love Drew's personality and I've never even met him. Let me show you why he's fun.

Here's a picture of the envelope that came today. The "PLEASE DO NOT BEND!!!" is of course, greatly appreciated but take a look below that, "(GHOSTS INSIDE)"....how fun is that? It definitely made me smile and was real excited to open my spooky package!

On the top of the bundle, was a Ben Cooper comic book that came free with purchase. Of course it's always fun to get something free, but I can't wait to dive in and read this baby! The story looks like it's going to be a fun Halloween adventure and the pages are beautifully illusrated and colored. Definitely an awesome add on to my already exciting purchase. So what did I order?

I had purchased 2 prints; 1 being "I AM The Halloween Party" featuring this way cool pumpkin guy (seen left) and "Campfire Ghost" (below). Both prints came on a thicker paper stock which feel great and the colors were extremely vivid, meaning the quality is superb. The prints weren't expensive either, with an 11x17 "Campire Ghost" costing $20 and the 9x12 Pumpkin Guy costing $10. With the quality of these art prints, the cost is almost a steal

The photo posted below of the "I AMm the Halloween Party" print looks a tad off color-wise, but that's only because the lighting in my living room was wonky and I didn't change it in photoshop. It's really great in person!

I would recommend this artist to anyone. The prints are vivid, they come on quality paper, he signs everything he sends, and the art and the stories are just fun all around. The transaction was smooth and they came really quick. Check out his website!
